Listen to the shadows
The future is an hour away
– Estonia, Tallinn 2016 –
There’s an Estonian song that says that the future is an hour away – hubby quoted it to me today. I’m not a punk rock person myself, but I can’t get over that simple idea. And there’s another song, not Estonian – a reggae song (I’m more of a reggae person) – that says that every day you’re one day older.
Draw whatever conclusions you like. As for me, I’m going to watch some summer shadows dance in that black and white photo of a row of houses opposite a castle wall.

There was a marketing slogan for the Slovenian coast: “Poljubček slan le uro stran.” A salty kiss just an hour away. Now I’m 2 km away. The future is now. 🙂

If this is true, I’d better get myself together! Too much dithering lately … off to the future (although I’d rather just sit and watch those summer shadows with you!)

Hahah, yes I don’t know if that quote about the future inspires me or causes me to panic! I can’t seem to decide! 😊

Thanks! I’d like to see more of Estonia, too, maybe some day I’ll travel on from Tallinn to some of the other areas! It’s just too easy to do a day trip from where I live to Tallinn ☺️

I look forward to that! 😊

It is funny how we travel more frequently to places some distance away and sometimes overlook the treasures on our doorstep.
