I’m doing a beach themed take on this week’s Color Your World challenge over at the blog Tourmaline. (It’s April and it’s snowing, need I explain?)

Wishing you sunlight and blue skies – and a good week, too!

Ahhhh, we may have spring flowers, but I could still use a beach!
I kind of chuckled when you started with “I’m doing a beach themed take on this week’s …” because you throw in a beach themed take as often as possible! And I love that!

Hahah 😂You know me so well! 😋I grab at any excuse (even my last post was from the beach! did someone say sunset? sunset, beach, same thing!) Are there nice beaches near you? There must be, in Texas?

Yes and no. There are beaches on the Gulf of Mexico only 45-50 minutes away, but they are only OK. I should give them more of a chance …!

Ohh, I see, snowing there too. These are the best kind of counter-attack. ❤

Some more splendid beach photos. No chance of Spring here with heavy snow today. Enjoyed a roast lamb family dinner and lots of chocolate egg!

Sounds good! We had a few sunny winter days, then snow, now sun again… around 0 degrees

You never have to have an excuse to present beach photos. I particularly enjoyed your burnt orange example.

Thanks! 💕 You can take the girl away from the beach but you can’t take the beach off her, or something like that 😊

Ahhh… we’ve left the sunshine and returned to one day of warmth to fool us into thinking it’s warming up…but cold and rain is coming the rest of the week. Beach photos are always a welcome view. 🙂

I agree, beach photos will brighten up any day! Today we had fog, a snowstorm, then rain, and then sunshine 😁I don’t even know what that means. Is it spring?
