In my town, one sure sign of spring is the appearance of interesting, colorful cars. Cars with charisma.
Somehow they always manage to look like they are posing. Placed in some special spot intentionally, with care. These cars are calling out, “Look at me!”
Which brings me to the prompt for this week’s Friendly Friday photo challenge – the prompt is Posing.
Take the idea wherever you want: it could be your pet that’s posing, a person, a toy… anything! In my case, it just happens to be cars. I keep seeing those car posers everywhere!
Please join in! You can do so by linking your post to this one and also adding its link to this post’s comment section. Then, have a friendly chat with other participants – that’s why it’s called Friendly Friday!
Can’t wait to see your responses – have a great weekend!

Haha, what a cool collection and theme idea! 🙂 Now I want to post cars too but I don’t have that many. I think I’ll make a compilation of different posers. Great how yours talk! 😀

Of course they talk! 😁 By the way, it snowed a bit today. These spring cars must be freezing, poor things…

Ahh! It snowed in Slovenia last week too, in some places a lot. :p

May snow, always appreciated and anticipated… not!

Great posers!…now I am stuck with the thought of cars – but I’ll be back with some posers today!

Interesting prompt, Snow. Well done with coming up with that one. And so nice to see those lovely Helsinki buildings again. I have to confess they caught my eye more than the cars! Have a great week.

Thanks Amanda, and a lovely weekend to you too! (The cars came up with this prompt, not me! They were speaking to me 😊)

Good question! Right now, the orange mustang and its black stripe are looking interesting to me. Do you guys have this kind of ”spring car” thing? 😊

I saw at least one yellow Porsche today, while shopping in the city centre. It looks great, but the street condition here is definitively not suitable for a sport car 🙂

Yes indeed. Around here too. You know it’s spring when the fancy convertibles and the motorcycles come out.

Yep! You can see how they’ve been waiting for it all winter 😊

Thanks so much for participating! Over here in the North, even our apartments are small compared to, say, American standards. Big cars cost more and use up more fuel. Same with flats that need to be heated! 😊

Great collection of cars, Snow! The VW bug caught my eye because it reminds me of Europe and our “Duck neighbors”. Here are some colorful poses from Seoul, South Korea! 🙂 https://incahootswithmuddyboots.com/2019/05/03/friendly-friday-photo-challenge-posing/

As I say in my post, I had 66 photos immediately. I had to save most of the birds for a future separate post. 😀 See who the winning poseur is (as if it was any doubt).

Great theme idea and I like your posing cars. I think that’s a tip of the hat to the designers because they want to catch your eye when the car’s parked and in motion. Mind you, some do, but only to make me think, ‘Why?’

A great collection of colorful posing cars, Snow! Why should traffic be bland I always say. Are you having trouble with pingbacks, too?

I love the cars you found! They are a very different sight when buried under snow 😉 I can’t imagine how people manage to park by the streets in Helsinki then. Here’s my contribution, I look forward to looking at what others have done 🙂 http://mrssuvi.com/2019/05/06/posing-in-berlin/

That is so interesting to hear there are colourful cars around where you live, and they do suit the mood of spring! They do scream look-at-me lol 😀 Here in Australia very rarely do you see bright coloured cars. Occasionally you might see a bright blue or green colour car though 🙂

These are the types of cars you don’t see much of during winter over here, they’re not equipped to deal with our winter conditions! So when you all of a sudden start seeing them around one day, you know it’s spring! 😊

They really are very cute and they do look perfect for cruising around in the warmer weather with the window down 😊
