A beautiful image. The duckling wandering on the empty street. Half-read newspaper on that wooden bench which has lost its colour. A sense of nostalgia.

The abandoned newspaper makes it appear as if he is the sole survivor…or the only one brave enough to be on the streets. I love the composition. 🙂

Thanks! There is quite a lot going on in the photo, isn’t there. My thoughts were along the same lines as yours. It looks a bit apocalyptic to me, like there used to be sightseers, newspaper readers and coffee drinkers, maybe duck feeders too, and now they are long gone…
