My autumn mood made me think of some colorful photos I took almost a year ago at The Finnish Glass Museum in Riihimäki (~ 70 km from Helsinki).
We visited both the permanent collection as well as an exhibition by contemporary glass artists whose names I unfortunately didn’t write down (since I wasn’t planning on doing a blog post).
If you’re ever in the area, I do recommend dropping by, it was a very nice peek into Finnish glass design, both old and new.

Oh how lovely! Would love to see this place. The bottles looks like there’s dried paints into them, such a wonderful sight. I dunno why but colors always makes me happy so this is definitely my thing!

Thanks! Me too, the craftsmanship especially! I feel bad for not having the artists’ names here. But this was in Oct 2016 so it’s too late now!

Oh, you should go if you ever find yourself nearby! The balloons probably won’t be there though, since they were part of the temporary exhibition, as far as I understood

Thanks for commenting! I loved them too! Afterwards, I saw similar lamps for a child’s bedroom in a store, how cool would they be 😄
