I do miss “green”… I live in the gloomy West Midlands in the UK.
Thank you for the bright green photos. Much appreciated 😉

Thanks! 😊 Here (Helsinki, Finland), it’s usually gloomy and grey, too, much like the UK… but today it’s nice and sunny for a change! ☀️ Still no green anywhere, since it’s winter…

You live in Finland? I had no idea.

Yes… I don’t really advertise it a lot in the blog because I want this to be an international, borderless space 😊 It would be so easy to turn it into a Helsinki blog and that’s not what I want!

I think your post are so varied that I can’t even imagine it turning into a Helsinki blog, unless you got comfortable or made a concerted effort. Well now I know to check back in with you for tips if I’m ever headed to Finland. ☺

I remember those gloomy, colorless days in late winter in Pennsylvania. Luckily, there was the Philadelphia Flower Show every first week in March to get a color-my-world fix…

Ooh, that sounds great, I’ll have a look at it – a virtual flowers show is better than none, hahah! 😄 Thanks for stopping by, with flowers 🌺

It’s green here year round, but easy to forget during the grey winter season. I love all the photos, but the three at the top are my favorite ones! Beautiful! Hope your spring arrives soon! 🙂

yes. I literally appreciate (out loud) every single day the trees are lush and green. bare trees, and the accompanying cold weather are flat out unappealing to me. one day, I’ll be able to live somewhere warm during winters in the Northeast.

Hopefully you will – and that’s always been my plan, too, moving somewhere warm

yes, I’ll know where eventually! as far as places with opposite seasons, I’ve only fallen in love with South Africa. I have a bit more traveling to do though.

That’s a good start, knowing where! I could easily feel at home in many places, so I’ll just have to see where life takes me…

that’s a wonderful feeling I’m sure. and I feel the same – it shouldn’t be a forced decision, but one that feels like the next logical step.

I agree. Plans are always good, as are dreams, and it’s ok if they change
