No, I got splashed there and then, but I had just turned my back to the wave and so my camera was spared. Quick reflexes, surprisingly! 😋

The blue light coming through the wave is beautiful. It is the same color that I have seen in icebergs.

Thank you, I like that color too. It’s beautiful but also adds an air of mystery, like the wave’s reaching out to you, suddenly producing that burst of color

The same thing happened to me and my 35mm SLR once in Hawaii. Quick reflexes saved us both as the wave broke right over my head. That water was as warm as a bath — how was yours? 🙂
