Sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places.
The cacti arrangement in white rocks that we saw on the side of a road in Aruba inspired my hubby to do the same at home, in a smaller scale. The results are now on our windowsill, cacti planted side by side with other succulents, carefully arranged amongst white, uneven pebbles. The perfect travel souvenir.

Ahh! What a lovely rub-off, very perceptive of him! I’m sure it looks just lovely. My ex loved cacti. Amore says that they sting. Not a plant for a hedonist 😀

That’s why hubby does the gardening, I just sit there and enjoy the results 😊

I was hoping we’d see a photo of your home arrangement!

Yeah, that would’ve been the logical way to go, wouldn’t it! As someone who prefers blogging about places to blogging about herself, this post’s already bordering on too much personal info – as funny as that may sound! 😉

Aww, I get it. But just a photo of the plants?

Nice! A great “souvenir” to have at home, reminding you both of a place you enjoyed visiting! 😊

I’ve fixed it! Thank you for pointing that out. My work is eating up my writing time tho 😦 but I still try my best to maximize my rest days and catch up with your posts. Good night Snow (it’s about 2AM here hehe). Take care!

Thank you so much 🙂 Travel opportunities are a lot here but I still love Europe more than US 😀 Sooo many options and less industrialised.. If only IT opportunities were more there

I’ve never been to the US (except Hawaii and transferring to flights elsewhere)… so many places to go, so much to see! (so little time!) I’ll live thru your posts, and explore the USA virtually, for now 🙂
