Blue Lake

This week, Sylvain Landry’s photo challenge is about the color blue, which just happens to be my favorite color.

These particular shades of blue are from Cerro Otto in Bariloche, Argentina a year and a half ago.

Usually it’s always Cerro Torre. 🙂 We have a family joke about an Otto. It involves a cartoon of a 4-man bob sledge, in which one of the guys says to another: “Otto in the back got awfully quiet.” And then you realise there are only 3 men left in the speeding bob. 😀

Ooo, but you were there! Let me quote Wiki: “Cerro Torre is one of the mountains of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in South America. It is located in the border between Argentina and Chile, west of Cerro Chaltén.” The reason why I know it is probably because some crazy Slovenian skied down it or something. It looks wicked!

Oh, you made me laugh! I thought I was losing my mind so I had to google it, too! 😊 Quite the travel blogger I am! But yes, I see what you mean now, I learned to call it Mount Fitz Roy but you’re right, we were there (not at the top, though! Hahah) But well remembered, you certainly deserve that medal I owe you! 😉 Grazie, MM, for reminding me!
