Kapiolani Beach Park

Oahu some years ago…

Wanting to avoid the crowds at Waikiki Beach, we’d walk a bit further to Kapiolani Beach Park each day.

Diamond Head in the background

On the way, I’d pick up a coconut frappuccino… you can’t get them at home. And they wouldn’t taste the same anyway. Coconut flavors belong to Waikiki.

Swimming + Hawaii = Perfection

Then we’d sit down in the half-shade, watch young people doing outdoors yoga and old people laughing on segways.

Inspiration for my blog icon… My view looking up from the beach towel

Something for everyone.
