Where trouble melts like lemon drops

Whenever I hear Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of Over the Rainbow, it transports me straight back to Hawaii. If there ever was a song associated with a place, this is it!

Like the song, Hawaii was peaceful, beautiful, and an adjective we kept seeing everywhere on our trip, “pleasant”.

Hanauma Bay was a place for snorkeling, so over-visited by us travelers that they restrict the number of visitors per day – rightly so. Plenty of fish to spot, the most memorable being the reef triggerfish humuhumunukunukuapua’a which looked like it had a zorro mask.

Doesn’t it look a bit unreal?
