Night

Paris, France

I would have liked to entitle this photo “The Escape”, but I guess that sounds too dramatic, even for me! So let’s just call it “Night”.

  1. Some of my favorite walks were in Paris. I did the Michelin guide in Jan 83 when my dad was at work and did them again with my girlfriend – whose now my wife in 86 and again in 93 after we were married. In Paris I could walk and walk – there is always something to see, smell, and taste – a boulangerie, patisserie, or chocolatier. Thanks for the walk back in time.

    • I’m glad there are other people out there who enjoy walking around in Paris as much as I do! Thanks for commenting! PS. I wonder if Paris (on the outside) has changed much since 83?

  2. I think ‘Escape’ would suit that photo. I can well imagine a big chase up those steps. Men in dark cloaks – with swords, of course: all nicely ‘period’ attire. ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ type of thing. 😀
