Yep, there are lots of red little houses and also yellow ones 🙂 I remember you said your husband has family in Helsinki. Did you spend time at a cottage or in town? The archipelago is beautiful, unfortunately I haven’t seen all of it….

We usually stayed at a cottage near a lake about 30 min outside of Helsinki and went into town on day trips. Such a lovely area, both the city and the surrounding area:)

Thanks! You should visit! It’s can be a very different experience depending on whether you visit during the winter or the summer. Complete darkness vs midnight sun. I’d recommend Lapland, it’s magical. I’ll be posting some pics later on… 🙂
